Closet Dreaming

I will be dreaming of this very closet for days. A rolling ladder?!? Are you kidding me? I've died and gone to clothing cave heaven. On a side note, I think this space may be about as big as my entire apartment.

Sprung

Spring has OFFICIALLY sprung and with temperatures reaching almost 70 the other day in Boston, I am dreaming of flowers, farmer's markets, dresses and skirts. And don't even get me started on my plans for the expansion of my sandal collection. While I run off to get a much needed pedi, take a gander at some Springy bits and bobbles I'm currently lusting over.

Tulle and Pointy Toes

On saturday night we had the pleasure of attending The Nutcracker for the first time and now I am on a total ballet kick. The music, the twirls, the costumes, I love it all. Though I am completely tempted, I promise not to have any "tutu moments" in the near future because lets be honest, unless you are Carrie Bradshaw or a prima ballerina, it just doesn't work. So, instead I might don some pretty ballet flats and do a few twirls a la Sugar Plum Fairy and call it a day. Here is a roundup of some fashionable contenders. Happy Monday!

Western Chic

I am by no means a country girl and I am not a fan of country music but there is something about bridesmaids in cowboy boots that I absolutely adore.

Speechless once again...

These heels are all kinds of wonderful. No idea who makes them but they hurt my heart with their loveliness.

Those yummy shoes and throw in that rock wall while you're at it because I am sort of in love with that too.

Design your own shoe

Spotted on Lake Jane: Design your own Nina shoe. I like them high and I like them bright and Nina has that covered. Check it.

Merry, Berry Bridesmaids

So I have been mulling over the whole mismatched bridesmaid look originally talked about here. Since we already have the bridesmaid dresses, I am thinking different shoes will be the way to go. I love this image of all the different colored shoes so I am using this as inspiration mixed with this bedroom as color inspiration:

Soooooo...I present my version of all things berry. I think it would be super fantastic to have all the bridesmaids wear a different color berry shoe. *Please ignore the super ghetto plum sash I photoshopped in. you get the idea.

Then, maybe I can wear these shoes and everything will be splendid:

and bouquets like this might be kind of pretty. Ok, I think I'm berried out.

{ Maybe a Done Deal }

So I think I might buy the ban.do flower that is totally on sale right now and the flower shoes and close this case. I am in love with the dotted tulle and the shoes sort of make my heart flutter so I think it's a sign. hopefully. right? why is this so hard?

{ Never Ending Quest for Shoes }

Even though I swore off all shoes J Crew and gave them the new moniker J Kill because my feet were a throbbing mess after about two minutes in what I thought would be my wedding day shoe, I might have to have a change of heart. I want these. I want to dance around in pretty floral shoes on my wedding day. I don't care that they don't match my "wedding colors" either. I was never one to follow a pallet and I like a lot of color so screw it. There will be lots and lots of random color at my wedding, starting with my shoes. Annd I don't care if they hurt, because they're pretty so hmmph. Did I mention that my bridesmaids are wearing leopard shoes?Things are about to get interesting.

{ Dream World }

Black soles are for widows, beige soles are for the Milanese, but red soles are for those who want to flirt and still have time to dance.”

Oh Christian, why must you tease me so with your pretty, pretty shoes. You know I can't afford them. I shouldn't even be looking but that flash of red is enough to send me into a blackout frenzy of shoe madness where I try to justify buying shoes that cost as much as the monthly rent for my apartment.
In my fantasy world where I make millions of dollars, these lovelies are what I would be sashaying down the isle in:

or maybe these:

Um, why don't I go crazy and put an entire outfit together that I can't afford. Does it count that I think I would look really cute in it?

These are probably my most favorite though. I think I could wear them with a potato sack and still look hot. Behold the Helmut:

le sigh.

More Contenders

{First image via My Glass Slipper and Other Images via Zappos}

How is a girl to decide? Help me please.  Which is your fav? The first shoe would be in ivory but it is dyeable.  The third shoe is the perfect purple but needs something. Rhinestone shoe clip perhaps?  I feel like someone needs to step in at this point and pull me away from all shoe websites. This is getting a bit out of control.
