Maybe it is because I like bulbous things, or maybe it is because I like green. It could even be because I am known to dig the unordinary. Whatever the case may be; I love BULBOUS.GREEN.SUCCULENTS. There I said it. Thank you Emilia for your input on all things succulentish. It is a done deal. Praise the wedding gods, Erin has finally made a decision. There will be succulents in fabulous mercury glass 

containers at our fabulous barn wedding. CASE CLIGGIDY CLOSED. 

I am Making These

Behold the centerpiece.  Love it or leave it.  I happen to luv so I am making about a bejillion plum paper flowers to pirch on pretty little twigs that will be stuffed in pretty little mercury glass jars.  

I first came across the idea on one of my morning reads 10,000 Only and it made my wheels turn.

Lets face it, though I would be more than happy to blanket the entire venue in flora, the cash flow is seriously not a flowin...so paper flowers it is.  I happen to think they are mighty pretty, in a designy, funky, super cool modern sort of way.
