Mad Martha

I recently had the pleasure of attending the Bestie's bachelorette extravaganza on Martha's Vineyard and completely fell IN LOVE with the island. And by love, I mean I absolutely will live there someday and have an art barn and maybe a dog or two. It is the cutest. Most of the pictures we took are not quite blog appropriate but I managed to capture a few water shots in between all of the debauchery. 

Shower Power

I am back from a weekend of festivities for the Bestie's shower. It was lots of work but the end result was so very pretty and definitely worth the blood, sweat, tears and champagne hangover. And I was so happy with how my first dessert table turned out. The cake pops were a big hit.

Yummy Goodness

My Matron of Honor duties are kicking into full gear as we head into the final stretch of the bestie's wedding planning. First up on the agenda is the day drinking soiree also known as the bridal shower. I have my sights set on a gorgeous dessert bar spread and am doing a little research for the goodies that will adorn this piece of yumminess. I know, I know...life is rough.

We are also planning a bloody mary bar and a mimosa bar {lots of bars but it will be well worth it} so I of course gathered a little inspiration from my favorite, Sunday Suppers.I can't wait to see how it all turns out. Wish me luck.

Neimans does Wedding Dresses

I am on the hunt for the perfect gray dress to wear for the bestie's wedding and since this lady won't answer my emails, I am forced to surf the interwebs for an alternative. In all my browsing, I happened upon Neimans and my oh my they are bringing it this season with the wedding dress options. Especially since most of them are under $750. Still no gray dress but a million other dresses in a myriad of colors. The hunt continues.

Pretty, Pretty Dress...You will be mine

I have been coveting Sarah Seven creations from afar for quite awhile and now I FINALLY have an excuse to buy one. My best friend has given all of her bridesmaids creative control over the dress picking {Sooo love her for that}. The only stipulation is that it be a lovely shade of grey. That, Sarah can do so now I must choose. Oh decisions, decisions.

My best Friend's Wedding

My best friend who is so near and dear to my heart happens to be planning her wedding and I am oh so excited for these pending nuptials. She is planning an organic, earthy love fest in a barn in Maine and I am going to be helping her along the way so all of you will be along for the ride. Here is a little inspiration board to get the creative juices flowing.

Help! Pretty Please.

My lovely, lovely bestie Aimee (pronounced A-may, not that it matters but I can't find the accent mark on my computer) is getting married somewhere in New England next fall and she needs a venue. Not just any venue, she needs an off beat, woodsy, hippie love fest kind of venue. No hotels allowed for this lovely. Any suggestions? Oh yes, one more thing we need wallet friendly. Thanks loves.
