Ciao Ciao Argentina. You will be missed

Oh, where do I begin? Argentina is beyond anything I could have imagined. It was so very gorgeous and the food, oh the food. We pretty much ate and drank our way through Buenos Aires and Patagonia. We danced on the cobblestone streets of San Telmo, basked in the natural beauty that is Bariloche and roamed through the boutiques of boho chic Palermo all while trying our hand at some very rudimentary spanish and falling even more in love. But enough talking, feast your eyes on a few lovelies.

Pretty, pretty places to rest our heads:

Argentina in the soles of our shoes:

If you are heading to Argentina anytime soon, you must check out these bed and breakfasts. I left a little bit of my heart at each one.

The time has come...

for our wonderful, fabulous, oh so needed honeymoon extravaganza to Argentina. I see lots of wine and steak in our future. I will be gone for a few weeks but I promise lots and lots of goodness upon my return.
Happy Holidays lovelies.

{ Leaving on a Jet Plane }

We finally buckled down and bought two tickets to Argentina and I am so.excited!!!It makes the honeymoon official; as in, we are actually going...no turning back.

I know it sounds bad but this has been one of my absolute most favorite things about planning this wedding. I think Mr. Lepperd would agree. After all the stress and family, it will be nice to get away and do nothing. in a foreign country. with amazing wine. and steak. and pretty, pretty surroundings.

So once the tickets were out of the way, I did what any normal girl would do {or maybe I'm totally abnormal}...I started planning my honeymoon attire. Le sigh. I see big floppy hats and metallic sandals in my future. Thanks to Lake Jane, I discovered Polyvore and it really has become the best way for me to completely waste my time. Oh, but I love it so.
Without further ado, behold my Argentinean honeymoon attire:

I'll take this Hideaway Hat too, thank you.

{ The Coolest Loft in Buenos Aires }

I happened to be reading another wedding blog yesterday, A Backyard Wedding to be exact, when a post about their honeymoon caught my eye.
They too planned a romantic little get away to Argentina (woohoo I am sooo living for this) and stayed in one of the coolest looking lofts.

To top it off, it only costs $400 a week...um seriously that is about $1000 savings compared to the boutique hotel we where just about to put a deposit on.  Do you know how far $1000 will go in Buenos Aires? I am so getting my shopping on, and my steak on, and my wine on.

If you are visiting Buenos Aires at all in the near future, it would definitely behoove you to check out this site.  The people that own the loft have a two bedroom apartment upstairs that also rents out for $400 a week or $950 for the month.

After Salsa Dancing...

Comes some much needed (or so I can imagine) R & R with a little bit of spa action in the Patagonia Lake District.  Can we fast forward 8 months please?  I don't think it gets much prettier then this.  Now where can I get super cute hiking boots?

P.S. It's Honeymoon Planning Time

And we're going to Buenos Aires......oh. my. god. this is by far my favorite part of the planning process. I am dreaming of steak, wine and salsa dancing
