Speaking of Anniversaries

this is how we celebrate the Anniversary of I Do in the Lepperd household – with a nice cozy pair of Wicked Good Slippers from L.L. Bean. Sexy, right? With Chilly McFreezing Winter just around the corner and not a slipper in the house, we figured who needs fancy dinners or weekend getaways to Vermont? Instead lets indulge in fuzzy goodness for our toes. So order we did all while gulping down a nice big bottle of Cab. I mean it wouldn't be an Anni without wine, right?

In other news, I spotted quite the lovely Anniversary Party over on Oh Happy Day

Gorgeous cake, a little croquet and dinner with friends all captured by Leo Patrone. Sounds like my kind of party. Maybe next year we'll forgo the robe exchange (because robes are a natural progression from slippers, duh) and opt for a pretty party instead

No Sleep till Suri

Inevitably there comes a moment in time when I get super stressed and despite complete and total exhaustion, just can't sleep. This also happens to be the perfect time for me to catch up on all my favorite blogs. So if you happen to spot a weirdo from Boston perusing your site at 3am, ya that's me.

Last night just such a thing occurred and in my trolling of the blogosphere I stumbled upon this treasure trove of snarky-goodness. I present to you Suri's Burn Book. Have you seen this gem?!?! It's Us Weekly meets Mean Girls from the faux point of view of Suri Cruz and the witty banter abounds. I might have just read the whole thing last night and could not contain the barrel laughs.
If you know what's good for you, you'll head over right this very second. skedaddle
and don't think I haven't already started following her on twitter

Feathered Friends

Have you heard? One of my most favorite image capturers in the whole wide world, the lovely Ms.Sarah Yates, has cozied up to other amazing photog friends for a brand spankin new team of fabulousness. All you upcoming Brides and Grooms, I'm talking to you. Believe me, Sarah Yates does a wedding good and I'm pretty sure these Birds are where it's at. I, for one, can't wait to see what comes out of Birds of a Feather. I think many a pretty picture is on the horizon.

When your Best Friend is Preggers

a) you lose your partner in vodka sipping crime (although I must admit my Sundays have been hangover free for quite awhile now and I kind of like it. Does that mean I'm finally growing up?!?!?)

b) you lose your mind over each and every cute little baby adornment, baby picture, baby room. All I have to say is god help this blog when I get knocked up. For now, it's just my pinterest account that's been high-jacked by mini-human inspiration

I honestly feel like every single person I know has a womb squatter as of late: co-workers, faux sisters, old friends, new friends, favorite bloggers (oh and here too). The list goes on and on and on. So in an attempt to gather my baby crazed thoughts into one post*, I thought it would be fun to showcase some of the fun bits currently offered for the littles in your life. Behold some pretty finds for the wee lasses...

and who can forget the itty bitty gentleman. Not I. And this sucker comes complete with a Wild Things Crown...

Girly Baby Goodness: 1. Polk-a-dot Jacket, 2. Rosie Toy, 3. Le Petit Voyage Bed, 4. Gold Booties, 5. 10 Mil Besos via Lay Baby Lay, 6. White Century Crib, 7. Imabari Towels, 8. Striped Romper (not available right now)
Boy Bitty Wonderment: 1. Yellow Sweater, 2. Fur Booties, 3. Wild Things Crown, 4. Sheep Rocker (this frightens my Hubs but I think it's all sorts of amazing), 5. Dinosaur Mobile, 6. Grey Crib, 7. Zebra Rug, 8. Zinc Letters, 9. Snakey Snake

* Who the heck am I kidding? My best friend's growing a human! eeeeeeee it's going to be the cutest little thing I ever did see and I'm pretty positive there will be more than one post on this subject to follow

Jade with Envy

vibrant greens and jades, heck we'll throw teal in there too, maybe a little mint? they have captured my heart this morning and pair so nicely with moody greys. How could I possibly resist? I'm unbelievably ready for Fall by the way. I dusted off the boots last night and they are just begging to be worn for a little apple cider sipping or maybe a few crisp air-infused jaunts

Whoopsy Daisy

has it really been over two weeks since I blogged? Don't know how that happens. I must have been having way too much fun eating my weight in chips and salsa in California or editing gorgeous weddings over at my Day Job but I'm back and I promise to fill your readers with tasty bits soon, very soon. No more staring at "An Ode to the Boy". promise. Instead you can gaze upon that big ol' balloon. Fun right? Until tomorrow lovelies...or maybe this evening. It all depends on when I get my act together.

xoxo

An Ode to the Boy

I'm jumping on a plane today for sunny Los Angeles and it never fails... as I run around throwing every pair of shoes I might possibly need, every lovely outfit I own and wayyyy too many pjs for one little week, the only thing I REALLY want to put in my suitcase is Mr. Lepperd. Really I could do without the rest but my love/ life bestie/ best spooner ever...him I whither away without. So to you my love, hoping this week flies by quicker than ever before. And someday, lets get soo rich that we can just fly everywhere together. Sound like a plan?  xoxo

So Pretty... Sooo, Soooo Pretty

a little bit bohemian flower child-esque mixed with the essence of home spun pretty in peach wonderment gives you this display of gorgeousness spotted on The Bride's Guide. Of course, the florals are courtesy of my most favorite florateer in the whole wide world, Amy Osaba. Isn't she a genius?
