The Great Dish Debacle

Yesterday there was a victory in our itty bitty kitchen. We finally put away the last of our plentiful, much appreciated wedding gifts. God help us though if we ever need to use any of those pretty plates or glasses. They are stuck in every nook and cranny imaginable and might cause a dish avalanche if we were to disturb the balance. Thus, I sit here this morning dreaming of beautiful china cabinets that I have no space for. Oh, a girl can dream.

One thing I do have is wall space, so I might be able to free up a little clutter and make a plate display. Don't worry, no granny dishes here. This is art baby.

DIY Chevron Art

I have a deep seeded love for all things chevron. This pretty pattern even made it into our wedding (and I now have 150 napkins to prove it).  So you can imagine my excitement when my bestest blogger friend turned real friend Emilia sent me this fantabulous DIY project involving...you guessed it...my most favorite of all zig zags. I am itching to make a few canvases to grace our walls. Check out the full tutorial on make under my life.

Currently Obsessing Over

Those yummy shoes and throw in that rock wall while you're at it because I am sort of in love with that too.
