watercolor is EVERYWHERE my friends - from dresses to walls, cakes to scarves, you name it, those colorful strokes are gracing it. I think this summer might call for a bit of watercolorfying my life.

Go Bright or Go Home

Dreaming of a full blown Neon Wedding. It might just be the child of the eighties syndrome but those blinding brights are so back and I'm eating them up one neon poof at a time

Inspired by Florals of the Hanging Variety

Writing for Style Me Pretty is an undeniable dream job for little ol' me. I basically get to revel in the glory of all things gorgeous on a daily basis and gush until my little digits are tired of typing. But the downside is that I have become...how shall I say this...a bit more edited in my most coveted wedding tid bits. It takes A LOT to really make my heart pitter patter these days and it's usually something unusual or outside of the traditional wedding box so to speak. Like these pretties:
Hanging flower boxes are my current le love and Amy Osaba happens to craft them like nobody's business. Gorgeous right? Here are few more potentials from around the blogosphere...
Or perhaps for your garden?

Case in point, these AMAZING DIY Terrarium Place Holders created by Wednesday Custom Design. They're gorgeous! I want to make a million of them and use them for everything and I think you should too

Instructions

1. Remove the silver hook from the top of the Christmas ornament.
2. Use the mason jar lid as the platform for the glass ball, and to offer some stability while you create.
3. Fill the glass ball with moss and sticks.
4. Make your own crepe paper flowers to put in the glass ball for a burst of color
5. Seal the hole in the glass ball with a wine cork

Strung Parasols and Other Whimsical Musings

when I spotted these happy hanging parasols on 100 Layer Cake, my heart did a fluttering dance of joy. I adore whimsical in almost any form and this is just sheer perfection to me. Who wouldn't want to dance their faces off under such loveliness?
And in honor of the love of whimsy, I made a little board that resides in a land where glam and frivolity go hand in hand...a.k.a my dream wedding

Doughnuts, Doughnuts, Doughnuts

dreaming of doughnuts today and digging their evolvement into the "it" sweet treat at weddings. Seriously, a doughnut bar...how cool is that? We happened to have doughnuts at our wedding and they were kind of the biggest hit ever. I know, I know, I'm such a trend setter.

You see, succulents and colors of the gilded kind happen to be two of my favoritest things at the moment and I so want need someone to fashion a wedding with these two things. Here's my interpretation of a succulent wedding dripping in gold...
