Blushing Decor

I don't know what has gotten into me but I'm feeling it... feeling the pink. From the palest blush (which just might be my favorite) to the hottest of hots. I want to cover every little cushion, every single surface, every sofa and chair that my behind encounters. Maybe I'll settle for a single piece in our living room so as not to give the Huz a heartie . A man can only take so much pink before he starts making demands like giving up closet space for a man cave or something crazy like that.

Nookie Time

Over the weekend, I had some major girl time down at the Cape filled with Champagne + St. Germain (my new favorite combo), magazine perusing, cottage designing and unfortunately an all out spider and tick war (not my new favorite combo). I survived unscathed and have instead been bitten by the smitten bug over what I spotted in the newest House Beautiful. But before I dive in to my new obsession, take a gander at a little rearranging of art at the Cape House which ended in J.F.K. hanging in the loo. 

Nothing like staring at good old Johnny Boy while you tinkle. 

And now onto my undying love for the reading nook. 

All equally comfy and totally worthy of some good book devouring. Of course, what reading nook would be complete without some cheeky photography? You best believe this will make an appearance in my book cave

Trellis Prints are taking over the world

or maybe they're just taking over my Pinterest. Either way, fine by me. I'm still not ready to end my love affair with Trellis. We've been going strong since 2009. Why ruin a good thing?

Closet Dreaming

I will be dreaming of this very closet for days. A rolling ladder?!? Are you kidding me? I've died and gone to clothing cave heaven. On a side note, I think this space may be about as big as my entire apartment.

stenciling isn't just for your moms anymore. It is on a whole new level of eclectic wonderment and I adore. Seriously if I wasn't renting, you best believe there would be some stenciled floor action up in this piece
