Blushing Decor

I don't know what has gotten into me but I'm feeling it... feeling the pink. From the palest blush (which just might be my favorite) to the hottest of hots. I want to cover every little cushion, every single surface, every sofa and chair that my behind encounters. Maybe I'll settle for a single piece in our living room so as not to give the Huz a heartie . A man can only take so much pink before he starts making demands like giving up closet space for a man cave or something crazy like that.

A Monday of Pinterest Lovelies

With visions of a million projects dancing in my head (everything from children's books to interior design and future house dreaming), pinterest has become my new best friend as of late. Not that I don't enjoy hours of mindless, awesome picture gazing. And I find extra fun in spying what images make other people tick. It is pretty much a guarantee that whatever Kathryn pins, I will ultimately repin and even my mom is in on the action. She spotted the first image and I kind of want to live in it forever. So, Monday is going to be dedicated to all things pinterest with an emphasis on yummy summer inspiration and a pink piggy because really, I couldn't leave that little guy out...

watercolor is EVERYWHERE my friends - from dresses to walls, cakes to scarves, you name it, those colorful strokes are gracing it. I think this summer might call for a bit of watercolorfying my life.
