Football Grub from Smitten Kitchen

how incredibly good does this look? Chili is an absolute staple in our house during the Fall and this little twist on tradition would be perfect for Sundays. Who says football grub can't be a little gourmet and dare I say it...absolutely adorable. See how to make your own Beef Chili + Sour Cream and Cheddar biscuits here.

An Italian Flat that dreams are made of

This sneak peek of Annette Joseph's Italian home on Design*Sponge nearly sent me over the edge. I love every single thing about it, including that perfect Hermes orange bag next to a chalkboard wall.

Insanely Jealous

that I had to miss The Hitched Event. It looked absolutely amazing and I've only seen the sneak peeks. I think it might be a little mind blowing when the whole event is unveiled. While we wait, take a look at some snippets of fabulous captured by some of my faves...

You Go Urban Outfitters

being in the market for all new apartment decor, I spend A LOT of time perusing the internet for great finds on the cheap and it never fails, Urban Outfitters always delivers in the accessories department. Can I just point out that this industrial cart would make an oh so cute bar cart? Done deal. We are so getting that. And I am not over chalk boards just yet, especially heart shaped chalkboards. Me loves. As far as bedding, I'm an all white bedding kind of girl so textured duvets are totally my cup of tea and throw on some sequined/gilded pillows to glam it up and well, I'm in love nest heaven.

and might I add that I am head over heels for this moody wall color spotted on Destined to Design. K, now back to more shopping. Next stop? Craigslist.

Giveaway from Williams-Sonoma

Hey all, just a little reminder that the Williams-Sonoma Giveaway ends this friday so be sure to enter.

And even if you aren't engaged, I'm sure you could still think of a bejillion ways to spend $200 at Williams-Sonoma so all of you married and single gals can create a "wish-list" of must have treats for your abode as well. We don't like to leave anyone out around here. Now run along and enter and I'll leave you with some of my own wish-list must haves. What can I say, I'm a mixer and a drinker.

Checker Me Happy

It all started with this shirt which I absolutely need to have. I have thought of a bejillion amazing outfits for my fall wardrobe and they all center around this gingham wonder.

Then I started noticing a pattern. A really cool, black checkered pattern that has started popping up all over the interwebs.

this adorable spread is the newest creation from Sunday Suppers. Grilled Pizza Parties never looked so good.

another cute example of gingham mania from a wedding photographed by Patricia Kantzos on Style Me Pretty.

So what have we learned from this? Black and White gingham is in and it promises to play nicely with bright, yummy colors.

Perfect

dying for every perfect little inch of this bathroom I spotted on Aubrey Road. DYING. The rest of the digs are pretty fantastic too.

We be Townies

It just so happens that the one square mile little neighborhood the Huz and I recently moved to is now the topic of a major motion picture. The Town is all up in our hood of Charlestown but I have yet to see a bank robber or Ben Affleck (in case you were wondering)

I can see the Bunker Hill Monument from my roof deck though. I mean the fact that the site of the first major battle of the American Revolution is less than a block from my house is sort of crazy, right? And I think that is way cooler than any movie star, well maybe not Jon Hamm (I sort of DIE for him)

Needless to say, go see The Town and let me know what you think. We are proud little newbie Townies.
